The Olshanetsky-Yablokoff collection of Jewish music manuscripts and printed Jewish music scores.

A collection primarily of manuscript Jewish music scores for Yiddish theatrical productions. The work chiefly of Alexander Olshanetsky (Odessa 1892 - New York 1946), leading composer on the New York Yiddish theater scene from 1922 until 1946, and of Herman Yablokoff (Grodno 1903 - New York 1981), Yiddish actor, playwright, songwriter and producer active in the Yiddish theater in New York in the 1930's-1940's. The collection also includes printed scores of songs by Olshanetsky and Yablokoff. Manuscripts in boxes 1-12 are by Olshanetsky ; Boxes 13-15 include works by both ; where known, works by Yablokoff are marked (HY).
